Problem
Canada West Boots faced a significant challenge in providing a seamless experience for both business partners and end-users through their online presence. The existing website lacked a dedicated section for retailers, making it challenging for them to access resources, updated product catalogs, and information on becoming a retailer. End-users also struggled with finding the nearest store, accessing product specifications, and understanding the personalized craftsmanship that Canada West Boots is known for. It was crucial to address these issues to enhance the overall user experience, improve accessibility, and streamline the process for retailers and customers alike.
Persona Development
To understand the diverse needs of both business and retail users, detailed personas were created. This involved identifying key pain points, preferences, and expectations of retailers looking to feature Canadian-made products and end-users seeking personalized craftsmanship.



Sitemap Creation
The website's structure was reimagined through the creation of a comprehensive sitemap. This involved a dedicated section for retailers, an improved store locator, and user-friendly navigation for end-users to access product information effortlessly.


Moodboard
A moodboard was crafted to visually align the website redesign with Canada West Boots' commitment to high-quality craftsmanship, capturing the essence of Canadian identity and resonating with the preferences of the target users. This approach ensures a cohesive and visually appealing identity throughout the platform.
Low-Fi Wireframes
Initial low-fi wireframes were developed to map out the basic layout and functionality of the website, considering the specific needs of both retailers and end-users.

Outcome
The outcome of this project was a strategic and visually engaging website for Dream Cones. By leveraging the created personas, conducting a competition analysis, and employing sketching techniques, I was able to showcase the brand's uniqueness effectively. And the hi-fi wireframes translated this into an interactive online space.
The revamped Dream Cones website achieves a dual purpose by narrating the brand's journey, fostering a personal connection with customers, and introducing a streamlined online ordering system that transcends geographical boundaries. This strategic shift not only overcomes initial limitations in reach but also opens up a new revenue stream.
